All of our EA roles are full-time, permanent positions. When you join FreedUp, you're paired with a specific executive and become an integral part of their day-to-day operations. We're not a gig platform — we invest heavily in each EA through custom training and ongoing support, so we're looking for people who want to build a long-term career with us.
We're a remote-first team spread across multiple countries, united by trust, collaboration, and a genuine belief that people do their best work when they feel valued. We celebrate each other's wins, create space for balance, and invest in our people both personally and professionally. You're not just filling a role — you're joining a community that sees you, supports you, and wants you to thrive. We also like to have fun with things like team bingo, referral programs, and regular check-ins that go beyond just work.
Our process is thorough because we're looking for the top 1% of global talent. First, you apply through one of our open positions. Our recruiters then conduct live screening interviews to get to know you. From there, you'll complete a skills and language assessment. The final candidates are interviewed by our Co-Founders, and one is hand-picked for the role. Once hired, you go through a customized EA Bootcamp where you learn your executive's tools and FreedUp-specific standards, followed by 1:1 training sessions on the systems we've built for your specific executive.
You'll be an independent contractor working full-time with FreedUp. You're paired directly with one executive, and your entire job is supporting them. But you're not on your own — you'll have an Executive Partner (your point of contact at FreedUp) who's available to support you, conduct regular health assessments, and provide additional systems or training as your executive's needs evolve.
EAs are paid bi-monthly (on the 1st and 15th of each month). On top of your base pay, you're eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and individual performance. After three months, full-time EAs qualify for an HMO health allowance. We also offer PTO, paid sick leave, bereavement leave, and a referral bonus when you recommend a great EA who gets hired.
Absolutely. Every new EA goes through a customized Bootcamp before they ever meet their executive. You'll learn FreedUp's standards, your executive's specific tools, and the custom systems we've built for their operations — all through 1:1 training sessions. Beyond onboarding, we have a Learning Hub with ongoing development resources, and your Executive Partner will regularly assess whether additional training or new systems are needed as your role evolves.
